Health insurance coverage (after deductibles are met) typically covers most, and sometimes all of the costs of your visits to Lotus Counseling. The average client co-pay for appointments is $35.

At Lotus, we accept private pay client appointments with rates ranging from $175 and $225. Lotus also offers a limited number of reduced rate sessions, please inquire if you believe you may qualify.

Yes, Lotus Counseling also accepts almost all other insurance policies on an out-of-network basis.

We work from a “prescriptive approach” to counselor assignment here at Lotus Counseling, a method that significantly (and often, dramatically) increases the chances of successful outcomes in therapy. What this means is that, throughout the entire intake process, we work to gather information about you and your presenting concerns with one single goal in mind: finding you a clinician who is exceptionally well-suited to your presenting concerns, interpersonal style, and other personal preferences and needs.

Sometimes, this means that the counselor you were originally considering is NOT the clinician that we match you with (i.e., “prescribe”) at the end of the consultation phone call. Other times, it’s exactly the counselor you were originally inquiring about. But, in either case, we assure you that the feedback our clients give once they are formally matched with a clinician has been overwhelmingly positive.
